Course Description: This class will introduce graduate students to a number of approaches in the development of an online portfolio. Students will learn fundamental online media literacy. This will include learning techniques that will enable one to digitize their work and prepare it specifically for the Internet, DVD and for RSS or Atom syndication. Topics that will be discussed and practiced will include: DNS registration, server hosting, Web 2.0, website design, Internet Protocols, HTML 5, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Content Management Systems, media compression, portable technologies and other content related to digital distribution……
